How to prevent hair loss

An unbalanced diet can be the cause of hair loss, because it does not provide the body with proteins, minerals and vitamins necessary for healthy hair growth. Among the vitamins necessary for hair health, B vitamins are the most important, especially biotin (B7). Omega-3 amino acids and vitamin/hormone D are also important.

Vitamin D is important in preventing hair loss, especially in women. Hair loss with vitamin D deficiency may be more frequent in winter, since the synthesis of this vitamin in the body depends on exposure to sunlight. In foods, it can be found in cod liver oil, fatty fish, offal, eggs, cheese, and butter.

Biotin supports the functioning of the adrenal glands, the thyroid gland and controls the number of enzymes. It improves metabolic processes in the epidermis, prevents hair breakage.

❗️Remember, if the hair is dry, brittle or falling out, then the body is deficient in vitamin B7 (biotin should not be taken with ascorbic acid).

If the hair becomes greasy quickly, it is a deficiency of vitamin B6.

Omega-3 amino acids restore hair structure and stimulate dormant follicles on the head.
